Day by day detailed itinerary and Cost

Arrival

On arrival, you’ll be warmly picked up from the airport and assisted by our team.
We’ll make sure you’re comfortable and ready for your safari adventure.
If you prefer to rest before the tour begins, we can arrange pre-safari accommodation at an extra cost.

Day 0: Arrival day

Please let us know if you will need transfer & accommodation in Arusha before & after the safari to be included in your package. Our safari manager will meet you at your lodge/hotel in Arusha a day before or in the morning for a short safari briefing.

Day 01: Arusha- Tarangire National Park

Distance: 120 km |

Drive time: 2 – 3 hours

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge in Zanzibar, Have a one hour flight to Arusha and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park. On the way, you’ll pass through Arusha town, where you can make any last-minute purchases. Tarangire is world-famous for its huge elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The park is home to more than 6,000 elephants, 2,500 wildebeests, and 3,000 zebras, all roaming freely within the Tarangire–Lake Manyara ecosystem. Bird lovers will also enjoy Tarangire, with over 400 bird species recorded here, including ostriches, herons, kori bustards, secretary birds, and many water birds .You’ll enjoy a packed lunch inside the park before heading to Migombani Campsite, located near Lake Manyara, where you’ll spend the night under the African sky.

Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Distance: 220 km |

Travel time: 2 – 2.5 hours (non–game drive)

After an early breakfast, your journey continues to the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the World. You’ll descend more than 600 meters to the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife havens.Inside the crater, you’ll explore diverse habitats and visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner. The lake attracts large flocks of flamingos, groups of hippos, and many species of water birds, making it a true paradise for bird lovers and photographers.By late afternoon, you will begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, where you can enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, or continue directly to the airport for your onward flight. (Accommodation in Arusha can be arranged on request at an extra cost.)
