Your safari adventure begins today! You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for a short one-hour flight to Arusha. Once you land, your professional safari guide will meet you at the airport and brief you about the day ahead. From there, you will start a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and wide, open landscapes. As you explore the park in your safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, you’ll have great views of the surrounding plains, river valleys, and seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River runs through the park and attracts many animals, especially during the dry season. Here, you may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, leopards, and many species of birds.

Your guide will take you through different areas of the park, stopping at key viewpoints and wildlife spots. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, giving you more time to watch the animals in their natural habitat. After breakfast, you’ll begin the scenic journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most breathtaking wildlife havens in all of Africa. Formed millions of years ago, this massive volcanic caldera is now home to more than 120 animal species, making it one of the richest wildlife viewing areas in the world.
