After breakfast, you’ll depart Tarangire and begin your scenic journey toward Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you’ll pass the lively village of Mto wa Mbu and the cooler highland areas of Karatu, known for their beautiful landscapes and farmland.You will then enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a designated viewpoint to enjoy your first glimpse into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.
