Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins today as you depart from Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, and travel toward the beautiful Tarangire National Park via the scenic Arusha–Dodoma highway. Before leaving the city, you may stop at a local supermarket to pick up any last-minute items you may need for the journey. The drive takes you across the expansive Masai Steppe, offering a preview of Tanzania’s dramatic landscapes, with Tarangire located roughly two hours away.
When you arrive at the park entrance, your guide will take care of all required entry formalities while you prepare for your first exciting game drive. Tarangire is known for its impressive elephant populations, striking baobab trees, and diverse wildlife that thrives along the Tarangire River. You will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at one of the designated viewpoints before continuing with afternoon game drives, exploring the park’s rich habitats until late in the day.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
After a refreshing breakfast in Tarangire, you begin your early morning journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you across the vast floor of the Great Rift Valley before climbing the escarpment, offering dramatic views as you ascend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This route provides an exceptionally scenic experience, with rolling hills, highland forests, and sweeping plains unfolding before your eyes. As you travel through the Ngorongoro highlands, enjoy a relaxed and picturesque drive, taking in the remarkable scenery and diverse landscapes that define this protected region. You arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon and immediately begin an exciting wildlife-viewing adventure. Day 3 – 5: Full Days Exploring Serengeti National Park

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha – End of Safari
The morning starts with breakfast at the lodge before you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable descent into this natural wonder.
